Legado, a high-growth technology company, is seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, sales process execution, and customer analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, research, and outreach efforts.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and their value proposition to effectively communicate with potential customers.
- Support our sales team in executing deals from initial contact to contractual commitment, including demos, presentations, and negotiations.
- Conduct thorough analysis of prospective companies to identify key decision-makers, challenges, and opportunities for engagement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of prospective companies to identify key information, including goals, challenges, current standing, and key decision-makers.
- Report key findings from analysis to support the commercial team's efforts to generate and progress deals.
- Conduct first principles analysis of our target market, identifying market trends and opportunities for growth.
- Support the preparation of sales presentations that effectively communicate the value of our proposition to potential customers.
Requirements
- Business/commercial acumen, with the ability to understand the drivers of our customers' businesses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with potential customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough analysis of prospective companies.
- Proficient with CRM systems and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A demonstrated passion for technology, sales, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- (Some) experience with lead generation, enterprise SaaS sales, and selling into financial services.
- (Some) experience working in a start-up environment.
Work Arrangements
Four days per week in the office is required for this role.
