We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our projects team at Edwards & Pearce. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of construction sites in the region, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.
- Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Collaborate with the wider project teams at our Construction office to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Previous site management experience in construction, ideally in housing, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Strong planning, leadership, and people management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and commercial awareness.
- Ability to produce construction programs and manage project operations.
- Academic qualification in a construction-related subject (HNC, HND, or Degree).
- In-date qualifications and training, such as SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, and scaffold inspection.
- Full driving license.
- 31 days annual leave, including Bank Holidays, plus additional long service days.
- Company car or car allowance, depending on preference.
- Profit Related Pay (PRP) Scheme, providing a profit share bonus in December each year.
- Royal London Pension scheme with employee contribution of 5% and corresponding employer contribution of 3%.
- Save as You Earn (SAYE) share saving scheme, providing the opportunity to become a shareholder and purchase tax-free shares.
