Job Title: Credit Analyst II

Job Summary:

RGA's Investments Department is responsible for managing the group's global portfolio of USD 90bn across a broad range of asset classes. The Global Credit Research team is at the heart of the investment decision-making process for the Investment Grade public bond portfolio, which amounts to c. 69% of the total portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental and relative value analysis on individual credits within assigned industries at an advanced level.
  • Produce high-quality substantive reports that are clear and concise, and establish the strengths and challenges to a credit.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of RGA's risk tolerance through the recommendation of investment ideas that reflect risk-reward parameters appropriate to RGA's balance sheet.
  • Maintain current knowledge of capital markets, investment practices, trends, and applications.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years relevant fundamental credit analysis experience, gained in an asset manager, company, rating agency, or bank.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • CFA or MBA.

Preferred:

  • Experience or qualification in ESG Investing.
  • Experience with Bloomberg and Blackrock.
