Job Summary:

Ignition Careers is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Bellshill. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for driving a fully branded HGV vehicle, completing store deliveries, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving and Logistics:
    • Drive a fully branded HGV vehicle, including curtainside wagons
    • Complete store deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
    • Strap down pick-up boards
    • Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle checks
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate records of driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Hold a valid Class 1 driving license
    • Have at least 12 months of experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
    • Hold an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and DCPC Card
  • License and Endorsements:
    • Accept up to 6 points on your license, excluding DD, TT, DR, CD, and IN endorsements
