Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our team at Recruitment Solutions. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team with various tasks, including input and matching supplier invoices, managing petty cash, and maintaining accurate records of payments and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and match supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage petty cash and staff expenses, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers on invoice queries, statement reconciliation queries, and supplier maintenance
  • Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring all payments are made on time and accurately recorded

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant or related role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • Experience with accounting packages and knowledge of accounts payable processes
  • Flexible working hours, with a minimum of 3 days per week
