About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Care Assistant to join our team at Linnaeus. As a Client Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients and the clinical team to ensure effective customer service
  • Complete various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business
  • Promote our fantastic Pet Healthcare Plan
  • Meet and greet clients with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Book appointments and manage diaries
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries
  • Take payment for services and products
  • Manage cash, stock, and client accounts
  • Open and close the practice
  • Assist vets when limited staff
  • Perform various administrative duties such as:
    • Pet travel scheme paperwork / AHCs
    • Post-op calls and pre-op texts
    • Maintain consult rooms
    • Upload / print lab results
    • Scan paperwork
    • Meds collection texts
    • Input stock take (every 3 months)
    • Some restraining to help vets when limited staff
Requirements
  • Experience in a reception or customer service role
  • IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook as a minimum
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
  • The ability to stay focused under pressure and to multitask
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis
