Governors for Schools is seeking a skilled volunteer to drive school improvement by becoming a Chair of Governors for a primary school in Sunderland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accountability and provide support and challenge to the school's senior leadership team
  • Monitor and evaluate the school's progress, shaping plans for improvement and overseeing their implementation
  • Set the school's aims and values, and appoint senior members of staff including the Head Teacher
