Morson Talent is seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join their Plymouth-based client's team.
Key Responsibilities:- Program and operate CNC multi-axis turning centers
- Experience with CNC controls such as Siemens and Mazak
- Ability to work to fine tolerances and use measuring equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working in an engineering environment
- Excellent attitude towards Health & Safety and good working practice
- Flexibility to variable work patterns and a forward-thinking commercial attitude
- Excellent customer care skills
- Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent
- NVQ Level 2 applications considered with relevant experience
This is a 6-month contract with potential for extension. The role involves 35 hours per week with variable working patterns and a shift uplift for certain hours.
Working Hours:
- Day Shift: 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 12:30 Friday
- Back Shift: 15:00 - 23:00 Monday to Thursday, 12:00 - 17:00 Friday
