About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our team in the HDFT Community Dental Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients with special needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carry out administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic.
  • Ensure a high standard of infection prevention control is maintained within the dental clinics.

Job Requirements

  • Good general education with skills in written and oral English and basic maths.
  • NEBDN Certificate and/or an appropriate professional qualification or equivalent.
  • Registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Care Professional.
  • Experience as a Dental Nurse of 3 years.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in all areas of Dental Nursing.
  • Competent in basic MS Office and IT Applications.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Additional qualifications in Sedation, Radiography, Special Care Dentistry, or Oral Health Promotion.
  • ECDL or similar information technology training.
  • Experience of working with patients with special care needs.
  • Experience of previous dental administration.
  • Experience of working with SOE (Software of Excellence).
