Compliance Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Executive to join our team at Brave Human Capital Group. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our regulatory obligations are met and our day-to-day operations are administered effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing and conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) checks to prevent money laundering and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Conduct file reviews and other compliance checks, reporting results to the Compliance Officer and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Maintain and update our compliance policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Organize and deliver online compliance training to our staff, ensuring they are aware of their compliance responsibilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in money laundering regulations and our procedures, ensuring we remain compliant.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including KYC, conflict checks, AML funding checks, and counterparties sanctions checks.
  • Assist with audits, requesting documents from fee earners as needed.
  • Perform ad-hoc compliance research tasks and other duties as requested by the Compliance Team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a compliance role in the legal sector is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Confidence in communicating with people at all levels with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • A proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work while maintaining accuracy and focus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach.
  • Examples of initiative and ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to research independently and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
