About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at NEXT Retail Ltd. in the UK and Ireland. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouses and retail stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry standard practices.
  • Analysis and resolution of Electrical and Mechanical faults and repairs, including ASI and Profibus systems.
  • Conducting regular inspections and assisting in the completion and review of risk assessments for the department.
Requirements
  • Level 3, Apprentice-trained Electrical Maintenance Engineers with experience and knowledge of industrial maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work at heights of up to 20m with appropriate training.
  • 12-hour shift rotations of days and nights with some weekends, averaging 42 hours per week.
