This role presents an exciting opportunity to become a vital member of our specialized team dedicated to constructing electrical wiring harnesses that meet our rigorous standards, ensuring exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the workshop manager to oversee daily operations within the harness workshop.
  • Assist in the assembly of complex, first-time builds and prototypes.
  • Select and prepare lineside stock components necessary for assembly.
  • Identify and report all build-related issues, deviations, and opportunities for continuous improvement to your line manager.
  • Provide mentorship and support to trainee technicians.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the work area, including documentation, tools, and products.
  • Conduct line inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required to guarantee timely delivery of quality products and services to our customers.
  • Adhere to all procedures and processes to fulfill daily business requirements, as well as quality and health and safety standards.
  • Ensure effective continuity of agreed deadlines through adaptable working patterns.

Engage actively in training initiatives provided by the company to uphold and enhance high-quality build standards.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Extensive experience with multiple OEM and system 25 harnesses, particularly in motorsport and aerospace.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Cirris or similar electrical harness testing software.
