Job Summary

We are seeking a kind and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team and support a young lady with a spinal cord injury. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their skills in complex care areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.

The ideal candidate will be a good listener, able to follow instructions, and have a passion for delivering high-quality care. They will also have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team of carers and enable the young lady to live her best life.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the young lady with daily activities, including:

  • Supporting her with personal care and hygiene
  • Assisting with medication management
  • Helping her to participate in activities she enjoys, such as exploring new places and experiences
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
Requirements

  • Has a passion for delivering high-quality care
  • Is a good listener and able to follow instructions
  • Has the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Is willing to learn and develop their skills in complex care areas
