About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fluid Analyst to join our Analysis, Modelling & Simulation Team at Babcock International Group. As a Senior Fluid Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering fluid analysis to budget and timescale, while supporting the development of fluid analysis methodology to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and check fluid analysis documents produced by the team.
  • Support the development of fluid analysis methodology to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support the development of fluid methods to ensure the Analysis, Modelling & Simulation Team are using the latest techniques and can address customer requirements.
  • Develop fluid analysis methods and roll them out via training to the rest of the team.

Requirements

  • Experience in fluid analysis in a high integrity environment, such as nuclear or defence.
  • A good understanding of first principle fluid dynamics.
  • A history of working to and improving fluid methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Degree, or HND or HNC in an Engineering Discipline with demonstrable experience and capability.
  • Registered with a relevant Engineering Institution and working towards Professional Registration desirable.

Security Clearance

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
  • Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
