Nursery Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team at a purpose-built nursery. Our nursery is designed to inspire curiosity and imagination, providing a homely and nurturing environment that enables children to thrive.

The nursery offers extensive outdoor space with beautiful views, allowing children to learn through hands-on experiences and discover new things.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be part of a dedicated team of early years practitioners and a senior management team that shares a child-centred philosophy and a love of the outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor a team to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment
  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum activities that promote children's learning and development
  • Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the nursery, building strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Conduct regular assessments and observations, providing feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a high standard of health and safety
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a childcare setting with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
