Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at SJC Partners. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including processing invoices, maintaining supplier databases, and preparing payment runs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Process invoices on Dynamics, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with outlined standards.
  • Supplier Database Management: Maintain the supplier database, including setting up new suppliers and ensuring accurate information.
  • Payment Runs: Prepare payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Credit Control: Handle supplier queries, credit control, and analysis of outstanding debtors.
  • Expense Processing: Process employee expenses, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare key reconciliations, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end process.
Requirements:
  • Excel Skills: Confident user of Excel, with ability to analyze and manipulate data.
  • Accounts Payable Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable, with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Commercial Environment: Confident to work in a fast-paced commercial environment, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
