Job Title: Cloud Specialist Lead

We are seeking a talented Cloud Specialist Lead to join our team at Legal & General, a leading UK financial services group and major global investor.

About the Role:

  • Lead detailed data analysis of Cloud consumption across all venues and Cloud hosted technologies.
  • Identify consumption trends and optimisation opportunities.
  • Create customer reporting for internal stakeholders in support of the Cloud FinOps service.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance communities to influence cost saving initiatives.
  • Work with the Procurement team to report on enterprise level commitments vs consumption and future consumption across agreements.
  • Help identify software renewals or new software procurement that could use a cloud-based Market Place to achieve a lower price point for the business.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on policies and guardrails to ensure business is empowered to achieve its objectives with appropriate governance in place.

About You:

  • A curious, data driven and analytical mindset.
  • Some knowledge and experience with AWS and Azure technologies.
  • Preferable to have experience of Cloud management tools such as Apptio Cloudability, AWS cost explorer, Azure Cost Management.
  • Previous experience in technology and/or finance or data analytics.
