About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Functional Skills English Tutor to join our team at Novus, our prison education provider. As a Tutor, you will develop and deliver high-quality education to meet contractual requirements and standards, supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards
  • Support learners and colleagues to ensure the best outcome for all
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
  • Commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 qualification within a specified time scale
