Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team at The Swan in Walton on Thames. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the culinary direction of our pub, developing and implementing new menu concepts, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new menu concepts, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent food quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive menu innovation and quality
