About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our Specialist Residential Support Service in Ynystawe Lodge, Swansea. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading our staff team and providing person-centred care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the staff team in providing excellent care and support to our service users with mental health, Autism, and Learning Disabilities.
- Advocate for our service users and ensure their needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of our service users.
Requirements
- QCF level 3 qualification or working towards it.
- Proven experience in care, with a minimum of 1 year.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of equal opportunities and how they impact employees and service users.
