Job Title: Café and Chef Manager

Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Café and Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team in a prestigious private hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to patients, staff, and visitors, while managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of catering staff to deliver excellent food service.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and meal service.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP, COSHH) and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Manage stock control, budgeting, and cost-effectiveness to ensure a profitable catering service.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, COSHH, and dietary requirements.
  • Budget management experience and an ability to work within financial constraints.
  • Relevant catering qualifications.
