Construction Engineering Graduate Programme

Join London Gatwick Airport's dynamic team as a Construction Engineering Graduate and embark on a 3-year journey of professional development and growth.

About the Programme

This fixed-term contract programme is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in live construction projects, exposure to real-world challenges, and opportunities to develop your skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on £multi-million projects, from inception to completion, and develop your design management, construction management, and project management skills.
  • Build a wide range of contacts internally and externally, and develop your ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Rotate across Construction and Engineering and experience different roles across various programmes.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2:1 Master's degree (graduated 2024 or projected for 2025) in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Logical thinker with an aptitude for problem-solving, highly numerate, and with an understanding of Data analysis.
  • Ability to prioritise and work at pace, build good relationships, and influence across the Airport.
Selection Process
  1. An online application, including a CV, with a closing date of 7th November 2024.
  2. Online assessments to demonstrate your strengths and necessary behaviours.
  3. A virtual 1st stage screening call.
  4. An assessment centre with group and individual activities, as well as a behaviour-based interview.
