Key Responsibilities

  • Provide face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations with patients, ensuring excellent communication and empathy.
  • Manage clinical administration tasks, including prescription signing and clinical triage.
  • Support the wider clinical team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Participate in mandatory training and continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain and enhance your skills.
  • Engage in peer reviews and contribute to the development of our clinical services.

Person Specification

  • Essential Qualifications
    • Fully qualified General Practitioner (GP)
    • General Medical Council (GMC) registration
    • On the medical performers list
    • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
    • Full UK driving license
    • Ability to work within the changing structures of the NHS and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Desirable Qualifications
    • Experience working in a GP practice
    • Ability to contribute to strategic and practice development initiatives
    • Capacity to suggest improvements for change in a positive and inclusive manner

About the Role

This is a salaried position, and the contract will be based on the standard BMA model for GPs. As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will be part of a supportive team of healthcare professionals, working together to deliver exceptional patient care.
