Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Airfreight Import Clerk to join our team at First Choice Staff. As a key member of our freight forwarding company, you will be responsible for coordinating the importation of airfreight shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Import Clearance: Ensure timely and accurate clearance of airfreight shipments through Customs and other regulatory agencies.
  • Freight Coordination: Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, and internal teams to arrange deliveries, invoicing, and quotations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Logistics Management: Manage the logistics of airfreight shipments, including arranging transportation and storage.
  • Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time, including customs forms and commercial invoices.
Requirements
  • Experience: A strong background in airfreight imports, with experience in Customs Clearance systems.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of road freight is advantageous.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
