Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is a premier venue for Meetings and Events, featuring 32 versatile conference and event spaces, including the Westminster Ballroom accommodating up to 1,400 guests in a theatre-style setup.
As the Events Operations Supervisor , your primary responsibility will be to oversee the daily service operations within the Meetings and Events sector.
Reporting directly to the M&E Floor Managers, you will ensure that all food and beverage services are executed promptly in accordance with Event Orders, while maintaining a consistently high standard of service to enhance guest experiences. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior team members to meet client expectations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all operational controls and procedures to uphold the highest standards of efficiency and professionalism within the Meetings and Events Department
- Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, both internal and external
- Collaborate with Floor Managers and other departments, such as Sales and Planning, to confirm service requirements
- Assist the logistics and bar teams with their operations as needed
- Delegate tasks to junior team members and agency staff, including F&B services, back-of-house preparations, meeting room setups, and cloakroom management
- Act as the primary contact for clients during events, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage personal training schedules and pursue opportunities for professional development
- Propose enhancements to departmental processes, striving for continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction
- Maintain a hands-on approach while on duty, ready to train and support team members as required
- Fulfill any reasonable requests from Operations and Floor Managers as necessary
