We are seeking a skilled Flood Risk Consultant to join our Water and Environment North team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will work on a variety of projects for our clients, applying and developing your skills in flood risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop business cases for flood risk management schemes to secure funding.
  • Apply hydraulic modelling and drainage modelling software to inform flood risk assessments.
  • Work with public sector clients, including local authorities and the Environment Agency.
  • Contribute to project delivery, using project management principles and techniques.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and influence positive outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in Civil Engineering, geography, or a related field.
  • Chartered membership or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution.
  • Technical experience in UK flood risk legislation and planning standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
