EXPERIENCED HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER REQUIRED
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to be part of our logistics team at Wincanton. This position is crucial for ensuring timely deliveries to various retail outlets across the South West and South Wales.
- Annual salary of £35,100.00
- Shift commencement at 15:00
- Full-time hours of 48 per week, from Sunday to Thursday
- Work as part of a 2-person delivery crew
- Overtime compensation for hours exceeding 48
- 31 days of paid leave, excluding public holidays
This role requires physical stamina due to manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing between 4 to 7 delivery stops daily
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle safely
- Maintaining accurate tachographs and conducting vehicle inspections
- Ensuring the security of both vehicle and cargo
Essential Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Class 2 license and CPC certification
- A minimum of 6 months experience in Class 2 driving
- No more than 6 penalty points on driving license
- Strong knowledge of geographical routes
