Job Purpose:

  • Risk Assessment and Evaluation: Support business stakeholders with risk exposure reviews for new and renewing contracts, ensuring alignment with our company's risk management strategy.
  • Contract Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate contract terms and conditions for major clients, leveraging our expertise in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Risk Advice Documentation: Produce formal risk advice papers to inform decision-making processes, providing actionable insights to our business colleagues.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance and compliance processes within our organizational structure, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and transparency.
  • Client Interaction: Negotiate and advise on risk terms with major clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Process Improvement: Identify potential improvements in transactional tools and propose amendments to streamline contract risk processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Draft concise reports on contract risk management-related activity, providing timely and accurate information to our stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Establish internal stakeholder relationships to increase Contract Risk Management's presence, fostering collaboration and communication across departments.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with the global team for pricing and coverage issues, collaborate on bespoke customer contracts, and contribute to the development of our risk management strategy.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
  • 5-10 years' experience in contract risk management, with a strong background in logistics, supply chain, or shipping industry.
  • Experience in risk assessment, evaluation, and contract management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Previous experience in large multinationals with stringent governance and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of insurance market and classes, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
