ADR/HGV Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ADR/HGV driver to join our team on a 4 on 4 off night shift in Durham. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a safe and efficient driver, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate HGV Vehicles: Ensure adherence to all road traffic laws and regulations while operating Class 1 or 2 HGV vehicles.
  • Handle Hazardous Materials: Transport hazardous materials (ADR) in accordance with strict safety protocols.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels.
  • Load and Unload Cargo: Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, using appropriate equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Licence: Hold a full, valid Class 1 or 2 HGV driving licence.
  • CPC and Digi-Tachograph Licence: Possess a valid CPC and Digi-Tachograph licence.
  • ADR License: Have a valid ADR license.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • HIAB Crane Experience: Experience in operating HIAB cranes would be an advantage.
  • Forklift Licence: Forklift licence would be an advantage.
