Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Breast Imaging Associate Practitioner to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient daily management of our Breast Imaging service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine mammography on women attending as part of the NHS breast screening programme, meeting the standards as specified by the NHSBSP quality assurance guidelines for mammography under appropriate clinical supervision.
  • Assist radiographers and radiologists in symptomatic and screening assessment clinics, providing technical and diagnostic support as needed.
  • Confer with qualified radiographers to evaluate mammograms for technical and diagnostic quality, ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.
