Ecommerce Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Manager to join our team at Zachary Daniels. As the Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our e-commerce strategy, ensuring seamless integration with our global marketing plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our e-commerce platform, including website management, customer queries, returns, exchanges, payments, and more.
  • Manage the customer relationship journey, ensuring all queries, complaints, and feedback are handled efficiently to uphold premium customer service standards.
  • Validate orders through fraud checks, manage cart abandonment, and continually analyse sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to boost traffic, sales, and customer satisfaction.
  • Control and optimise the digital experience across all owned online channels and third-party retailers, ensuring consistency and engagement.
  • Work alongside marketing, PR, and IT teams (locally and globally) to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvements.
  • Partner with external agencies to drive digital campaigns, including Pay-Per-Click (PPC), search engine advertising (SEA), and retargeting.
  • Implement AB testing to refine user journeys, maximise sales, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop the e-commerce executive and coordinator, ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's goals and is working efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a digital marketing and e-commerce environment.
  • A strong command of e-commerce/CMS platforms.
  • A broad understanding of all things digital, with a desire to keep learning about social media platforms, apps, and the latest tech trends.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with an eye for detail and a knack for improving traffic, sales, and customer engagement.
  • A good understanding of UX design, and a desire to test and implement innovative ideas that drive performance.
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
