Field-Based Electrical Technician - North Lanarkshire - Competitive Salary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Field-Based Electrical Technician to perform maintenance and urgent repair tasks for a prominent facilities management provider. The position will be primarily mobile, covering various sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance guidelines and ensure documentation is completed in real time.
  • Address reactive maintenance issues across multiple locations.
  • Complete all necessary documentation for PPM, reactive, and emergency repairs.
  • Update the client's Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system promptly.
  • Quickly resolve equipment faults and issues to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors while they are on site.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and be open to additional hours as required.
Person Specification:
  • A recognized industry qualification is essential, along with relevant experience.
  • Possession of the 18th Edition or an equivalent certification.
  • Trade qualified Electrician with post-apprenticeship experience.
  • A valid, clean driving license is mandatory.
  • Legionella awareness is advantageous (training available).
  • Self-driven and capable of working independently.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances.
  • Willingness to be part of an out-of-hours standby rota.
