About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Architect to join our team at CV Library. As a Principal Architect, you will play a key role in delivering complex through-life marine Architectural services to our clients in the Marine Sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Architectural elements of the Dock Facility upgrade, ensuring designer technical performance and providing appropriate technical responses.
  • Provide technical design guidance and review the integration of Architectural designs with other design packages.
  • Ensure that design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule, and budget.
  • Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and contributing to the project's technical planning process.
  • Ensure effective Quality Management arrangements operate and comply with the client's Business Management System and Technical Manual.
  • Document processes and activities appropriately, maintaining records and applying configuration and quality controls.
  • Ensure that staff and contractors are aware of hazards and risks associated with the work undertaken by the consultant team through effective management and communication of the Risk Assessment.
Requirements
  • Highly complex building experience in the nuclear sector (desirable).
  • Experience with complex buildings in heavily regulated environments (essential).
  • Experience with major Civil Infrastructure projects in the marine environment.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
  • Chartered Architect, registered with RIBA.

This is a 52-week contract with a competitive salary. The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
