Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Lead Environmental Advisor to enhance our team of specialists in the field of environmental consultancy. This position offers the flexibility to work from various locations across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Environmental Statements.
  • Develop and implement Site-Specific Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Create comprehensive Pollution Prevention Plans and Environmental Management Plans.
  • Manage EIA projects, ensuring effective tracking and development.
  • Conduct site surveys throughout Scotland.
  • Engage in regular consultations with clients to discuss project progress and requirements.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a BSc or MSc in a relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Environmental Management. Experience in a UK-based consultancy role as an Environmental Consultant or Advisor is essential, particularly in the preparation and coordination of Environmental Statements and Impact Assessments.

Additional Skills:

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in environmental compliance, report coordination, and management of pollution incidents. A strong background in surface water management is also required.
