KennedyPearce Consulting is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a temp to perm basis. This leisure company offers a hybrid working policy, with a balance of office and remote work. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional with around 1-2 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for invoice reconciliation and processing of accounts payable transactions. If you have experience with Sage 300 and excel, and possess strong problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and update vendor details, ensuring bank detail verification processes are followed
  • Validate purchase invoices and credit notes, applying problem-solving skills to disputed items
  • Ensure accuracy of data entry at all times, processing all transaction details, item lines, and tax correctly, in adherence to company policies
  • Proactively investigate and promptly resolve day-to-day queries
  • Support the administration of Weekly & Critical payment runs, including remittances
  • Regularly reconcile vendors, with prompt solutions for issues identified
  • Meet statutory reporting requirements, ensuring documentation is maintained and retained in line with company guidelines
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects and tasks as advised, such as audit

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in an AP role or similar
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset
  • Great attention to detail
