Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 driver with experience in shunting to join our team at Challenge-trg Recruitment. As a shunter, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving vehicles within a warehouse or transportation hub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform shunting duties, including moving vehicles within a warehouse or transportation hub
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly secured and loaded/unloaded
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and cargo
  • Collaborate with other drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Full C+E licence
  • Valid CPC card
  • Digital tachograph card
  • DVLA Check code
  • At least 1 year of experience as a tug shunter

Working Hours and Pay:

  • Nights: £23.25 per hour
  • Weekend Nights: £24.74 per hour
  • Bank Holidays Nights: £32.55 per hour
  • Overtime Nights (over 46.25 hours): £32.55 per hour
