Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician/Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Gap Technical Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute mechanical activities on-site as directed by the engineering manager.
- Perform all planned maintenance tasks, change overs, and additional work as required.
- Diagnose breakdown faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Report resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework, or deferred maintenance.
- Provide technical support for machine breakdowns and changeovers.
- Assist in equipment trouble-shooting and basic root cause analysis.
- Develop solutions to equipment problems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain and improve equipment performance.
Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained to ONC/HNC/C&G Level 3.
- Ability to read and produce mechanical drawings.
- Experience with PPM on mechanical equipment.
- Electrical and mechanical ability essential.
