About the Role

The Ivy Learning Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Estates and Facilities to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead the estates and facilities operation within a fast-growing multi-academy trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the estates and facilities operation
  • Develop and manage a team of facilities staff to ensure the smooth operation of the trust's estates
  • Manage the trust's capital programme, including the development and implementation of new projects
  • Ensure the trust's estates are safe, secure, and inspirational for students and staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and local authorities
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems
