About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bupa. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Assist the chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies and procedures, and follow all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
  • Assist with catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be able to deliver an excellent service at each meal, making our residents feel at home. You will also need to maintain high standards in and around the home, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all.
