Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain automation test tools to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design and Development, to identify and resolve hardware-related issues.
  • Create and implement test plans for new technologies and products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of electronics and electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience with electronics test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Background in electronics or a related field.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, including EMC, radio, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with test and validation methodologies and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms.
  • Ability to analyze and present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • UK driver's license and own vehicle to commute to off-site test houses.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology.
  • Ability to summarize technical information for varying levels of detail, depending on audience.
  • Experience managing a test workstack.
