Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing safety, health, and environmental aspects, logistics, security, and the ongoing upkeep of facilities, while also contributing to the establishment of new facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring that the testing facilities' capabilities align with the integration testing program.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including supply chain, engineering, site management, and finance, to manage construction projects throughout their lifecycle. This includes reporting on project performance regarding schedule, budget, and quality through performance reviews.
- Serve as the project lead for multiple initiatives, often with limited support, identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and escalating issues to the project manager as necessary.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of facility construction and maintenance within engineering and project management contexts.
- Experience in program scheduling, including development and updates, with a solid grasp of cost estimation and related processes.
- Ability to support and lead lifecycle management reviews for projects at various stages, including the bidding phase.
- Prior experience in financial assessments, including cost modeling, forecasting, and earned value management (EVM).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the capability to act as a Responsible Person following appropriate training.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Project Management qualification, such as PMQ, is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Visio and Microsoft Projects.
