About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Railway Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on railway infrastructure, including signals, level crossings, and points systems.
  • Work in a team environment to deliver safe and efficient work delivery.
  • Develop and implement safe systems of work to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of work.
  • Continuously develop your skills and competencies relevant to your discipline, keeping up to date with new standards, procedures, and instructions.
Requirements
  • Experience of arranging and implementing safe systems of work.
  • Knowledge of how to organise and control the safe and efficient delivery of work.
  • Strong communication skills, both in person and in writing.
  • Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques.
  • Willing and able to work shifts in all weathers.
  • Meet the required benchmark for application screening questions.
