Railway Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Railway Technician. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out maintenance and repair work on railway infrastructure, including signals, level crossings, and points systems.
- Work in a team environment to deliver safe and efficient work delivery.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of work.
- Continuously develop your skills and competencies relevant to your discipline, keeping up to date with new standards, procedures, and instructions.
- Experience of arranging and implementing safe systems of work.
- Knowledge of how to organise and control the safe and efficient delivery of work.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and in writing.
- Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques.
- Willing and able to work shifts in all weathers.
