Job Description

AJS is seeking a highly organized and methodical individual to support our Engineering functions within the business. The key responsibilities of this role include:

Key Duties:
  • Effectively manage the AJS fleet of vehicles, minimizing operational downtime and costs by ensuring timely maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
  • Ensure all legal checks and regular equipment inspections are carried out, maintaining compliance and safety standards.
  • Manage company assets, including allocation, tracking, and condition, to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and branded clothing, maintaining an accurate stock system.
  • Arrange accommodation and transportation for engineers in the UK and Europe, as required.
  • Procure items efficiently, following requests, and communicate the status of orders to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate prioritization and flexibility to meet multiple requests and demands, supporting site and office requirements as needed.
Requirements:
  • Good organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Methodical thinking and approach to tasks, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • Location: Holbeach, Lincolnshire.
