We are seeking an experienced Operational Site Manager to lead our Programme Delivery team. As a key member of our Operations Directorate, you will be responsible for delivering the right sites, in the right locations, always accessible and always on.
Key Responsibilities- Programme Delivery: Own and proactively manage the delivery of the PPM programme, following on maintenance activities by the supplier ecosystem against contractual obligations and industry benchmarks.
- Service Recovery: Undertake direct intervention to identify root causes of service underperformance, instigating recovery initiatives to deliver and improve service performance.
- Plan Assurance: Be accountable for the assurance and approval of detailed plans for the management of PPM based on service requirements, current backlogs, changes in site status, and incremental service demand due to condition to achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets.
- Site Maintenance: Responsible, in conjunction with the MBNL H&S, infrastructure management, estates, and compliance teams, to ensure sites are maintained in a safe and compliant way whilst maintaining the longevity of the assets by the supplier ecosystem.
- Supplier Management: Work with the MBNL Commercial Management Team for the proactive management of approved suppliers to achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets.
- PPM Function Leadership: Strong experience of establishing, developing, and leading a PPM function to achieve agreed business outcomes, performance targets, and industry benchmarks.
- Technical and Business Services: Detailed knowledge of the methodologies, processes, and capabilities required to deliver best-in-class technical and business services.
- Contractor and Supplier Management: Strong experience of managing, motivating, monitoring, and improving performance of contractors and suppliers.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong experience of building deep, effective relationships and an appreciation of organisational politics, with the ability to use these to socialise and influence stakeholders.
- Leadership and Influence: Experience of working with, briefing, and influencing senior members of leadership teams.
- Customer, Commercial, and Technical Requirements: Experience of managing the natural tensions between customer, commercial, and technical requirements.
- Industry Best Practice: Experience of bringing industry best practice into an organisation and using this to drive continuous improvement and knowledge of how to lead and manage high-performance teams.
- Remote Team Management: Experience of managing remotely located, cross-functional teams.
- Safety, Quality, and Compliance: Strong safety/quality/compliance knowledge of mobile or fixed network technologies.
- JV Organisation Experience: Experience of working in or with a JV organisation.
