About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Shrewsbury. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion in high-risk areas. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating onsite activity and overseeing junior staff during fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion in high-risk areas
  • Co-ordinate onsite activity and oversee junior staff during fieldwork
  • Plan and project manage a varied portfolio of audit clients, including leading audit assignments
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns
  • Finalise completed audit for Partners' review
  • Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Supporting the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed
