Job Title: Upper KS2 Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper KS2 Teacher to join our team at a reputable 'Good' one-form primary school in Hounslow. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent teaching in a Upper KS2 setting and working collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience.

Responsibilities
  • As a Upper KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses.
  • Further developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents.
  • Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning.
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for Upper KS2 students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Education, or related field.
  • Teaching qualification and QTS.
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching Upper KS2 students.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
  • Ability to create and present engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
