CNC Machinist/Programmer

Salary: £00 per hour – permanent role

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

We are collaborating with a reputable client specializing in the aviation field. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review technical drawings, data, and product specifications to ensure optimal machining and adherence to production engineering standards and component quality.
  • Manufacture all plastic components for seating to the highest quality standards, utilizing various processes including but not limited to Injection Moulding, scraping, tool fabrication, Vacuum forming, Trimming, Adhesive bonding, and Assembly.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating all workshop machinery through the company’s training initiatives.
  • Assist with inventory management, inspection, part marking, and packaging tasks.
  • Be adaptable to shift changes based on operational needs, including potential night shifts.
  • Operate company vehicles for collection and delivery tasks as required.

Proficiency in programming and instructing a 5-axis router (preferably Thermwood) with minimal guidance is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Exhibit competence in using all workshop machinery through participation in company training programs.
  • Be flexible regarding working hours and willing to undertake overtime during peak periods.
  • Adapt to varying shift patterns as necessitated by business operations, including night shifts.
