Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Machine Operatives, also referred to as Bottle Supply Operatives, to join our production team. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and fulfilling our daily production objectives. Candidates should possess experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly within temperature-controlled Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) settings.
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights, 7-7
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate within a dynamic production environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement cost-saving measures.
• Drive initiatives aimed at waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain equipment, reporting any issues to the Team Leader.
• Follow quality control procedures to uphold product integrity.
• Engage with site teams to execute improvement projects aligned with company objectives.
• Support new system and process enhancement initiatives.
• Contribute to production optimization efforts.
• Actively participate in achieving daily production performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and requirements.
• Maintain a 'Clean as you go' work ethic.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and support improvement initiatives.
• Accurately capture and record relevant operational data.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Basic Food Hygiene certification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with temperature-controlled FMCG operations.
• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Proficiency in machine operation and maintenance.
