We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Hays UK - Landmarc. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable and efficient data architectures to meet our evolving data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop semantic data models to ensure seamless collaboration with Data Analysts.
  • Integrate data quality measures into all phases of the data life cycle, establishing a proactive approach to data integrity and reliability.
  • Lead the data engineering team and ensure our ELT processes adhere to best practices.
  • Play a key role in our data platform cloud migration, upskilling and developing rapidly while maintaining our Legacy systems.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as a Data Engineer, with hands-on involvement in developing and optimising data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering techniques, ELT processes, data quality frameworks, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, FiveTran, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
  • Expertise in Datamodelling using Kimball methodology.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills.
