Position: Class 1 HGV Driver

We are seeking qualified Class 1 HGV Drivers to support our client’s operations.

As a Class 1 driver, you will be integral to a reputable brand's logistics, facilitating trunking activities across the UK.

This role offers consistent ongoing work after completing a vetting process that includes airside clearance across the UK.


Requirements for Class 1 HGV Drivers:

  • Minimum of 6 months holding a Class 1 license
  • Valid Tacho and CPC cards
  • No more than 6 penalty points (excluding TT, IN, DD, or DR codes)

Class 1 HGV Drivers must be available for one of the following shift patterns:


  • 4 or 5 days out of 7

This may include weekend shifts (Saturday morning or Sunday night). You will receive your shift schedule in advance for each two-week period.

Most shifts will commence between 1200 and 2200, with the expectation of overnight stays 1 or 2 nights per week if necessary.


Compensation for Class 1 HGV Drivers:

  • Monday to Friday: £17.89 per hour
  • Monday to Friday: £20.39 per hour
  • Saturday: £18.89 per hour
  • Saturday: £21.39 per hour
  • Sunday: £19.89 per hour
  • Sunday (1900 to 0800): £22.39 per hour
  • Overtime after 40 hours: £26.84 per hour

It is essential for drivers to provide a 5-year work history for reference and successfully complete a DBS and CO course.
